Arrived Lourdes, get to work!

The early pilrims walked, rode on horseback or were carried on carts or stretchers. Today our Malades ride in these blue carts which the Knights, Dames and Voluteers pull to move them throughout the Lourdes Sanctuary. Here in this picture we are moving 55 of these carts to our gathering area under our hotel so we are ready when our Malades and the balance ofoour team arrive tomoorw afternoon. Where our sick arrive, we are happily the horses. After arriving this afternoon we were in advance preparation mode...including one Deacon who had to go and buy a pair of black shoes as I had left them in my last hotel. When getting into my cab to go to the store, the cabbie had the time of his life laughing at someone who could lose his shoes. He tried to soften it but telling me he had no doubt driven me many times.....this though is my fisrt visit to Lourdes.
