After Mass at Poor Clares Monastery, the chef works!

A day of work preparing for the malades ends with us at Mass at the Poor Clares Convent. In its small chapel we celebrate Mass...maybe 20 of us. Our mass intentions are for the safe journey of the 250 who will be leaving from Los Angeles to arrive in Lourdes tomorrow. After Mass Msgr Otellin prepares his famous risotto, wit the help of Sous Chef Katy Kelly and bartender and stirrer Deacon Tom Kelly. Lourdes dose deliver messages....I found our small bottle of scotch at a liquor store and deli called The Immaculate Conception. The irreverent name didn't stop me from my purchase I suspect they must be devout. The purchase led to the successful

feeding of almost 20 :).
