Bishop Brown Blesses the Rosaries

The first full day of the pilgrimage in Lourdes begins with us in St Joseph Chapel in The Domain. Our group of about 275 just fit. The morning's agenda include the distribution of rosaries, penance service and Sacrament of Reconciliation, and the washing of the malades feet by members of the Order. Prior to distributing the rosaries and praying the Luminous Mysteries together, Bishop Todd Brown of Orange, Ca. blesses them and we give them to the malades and their companions. The rosaries, Job's Tears seed pod rosaries, are handmade by cloistered Poor Clare Nuns at their Lourdes monastery.
