Preparation Day

The agenda for the day before the malades arrive is getting the final logistics set. Top of list is moving the carts we will use to transport the malades from the hotel to the Domain (Sanctuary) and around the Domain. We collected 52 carts and pulled them from the storage basement to the hotel garage. Each person pulls 1 to three carts (pictured to the left), hooked together as needed, across the Domain to the hotel....wagon train style. James Arness would have been proud. We also collected the wheel chairs we will need for the pilgrimage. These carts will be the carriages for our Malades over the next week. Empty now. Like a glove without a ball, a pencil without a hand, a heart without a beat.
