Blessed Sacrament Procession through the Mercy Gate

Pictured clockwise, we assemble to commence the procession that will take us into the St Pius X Basilica. This year we will pass through the Mercy Gate, established this year for pilgrims by Pope Francis for the Year of Mercy. The gate, pictured to the right, looks down toward the Rosary Basilica at the opposite end of the Sanctuary. Just passed the gate, the pilgrims are blessed with holy water and inside adoration of the Blessed Sacrament begins. Outside as we waited to begin, God blessed us with wind, rain and hail. .:).
