Tuesday is a day of movement by those who are here early to prepare for tomorrow's arrival of the charter flight with the malades, accompanied by the knights, dames, chaplains and volunteers of the Order. From punching holes in prepared name placards, moving supplies from the attic in the hotel Eliseo down to the staging area for arrival and departures for the many days itineraries, filling bottles of with water from the Blessed Mother's sacred spring, and very importantly moving the carts to the hotel that will carry our beloved malades to and from the Sanctuary of Lourdes, it is a beehive of activity. We moved over 50 of the carts that hold those placed in our care for this pilgrimage to the hotel garage where each day a malade will allow us to transport them to and from the churches, chapels, baths, and Grotto of Lourdes. Many hands make for light work. The presence of God is around us and tomorrow we welcome the presence of Christ in those who will fill these carts.
