We process through, in quiet reverence, the Grotto of

our Lady where Bernadette received her many apparitions. We pass by the spring which flows from the point where Mary instructed the young 14 year old Bernadette to dig. The water, muddy at first, has since turned into a constant stream of clear healing waters. The statue of Mary rests in the place where Bernadette saw her apparitions. Mary directs Bernadette to dig to the water,, the water directs us to Mary, and Mary directs us to her Son, Jesus.
