The Stations of the Cross

This morning, in a small group of 5, we walked the stations of the cross. These stations are situated right on the banks of the river Gave and are more accessible to those with more limited mobility. In this Way of the Cross, the artist includes 17 stations. A noticeable deign trait in each station is large size of the hands and feet of our Lord. Pictured here Simon helps to carry the cross. Many times we are pulled into service in our lives with no comprehension of the gift we are being given.
