Placing the St Raymond Petitions at the Grotto of Our Lady

At this past Sunday's masses I invited parishioners to give me their petitions to place at the Grotto where Mary appeared to Bernadette. This was our first stop after arriving in Lourdes Sanctuary. In the three masses where I preached I recieved 52 hand written petitions, in eluding 4 in Polish and one from a visitor from The Netherlands. The picture to the right is the is that of the spring which flowed from where Bernadette was instructed to dig by Our Lady. The water reflection in this photo almost looks like flames. I will keep all these petitions in my prayers during this pilgrimage.
