25,000 Underground for Mass in the Pius X Basilica

On Sunday the 3rd Sunday of Lent, the Order of Malta from around the world joined Cardinal Timothy Dolan in the celebration of the Eucharist. Concelebrating with the Cardinal were 3 other Cardinals, 7 bishops and and probably 150 priests from the Diocesan, Dominican, Passionists, , Franciscan, Jesuit, Benedictine, etc, etc,... ranks. I didn't count the countries and the flags in the Basilica, but it had to be 50+ countries represented. I assisted as a Deacon in bringing Eucharist to the altar, reposing the Blessed Sacrament helming to organize communion....approx 100 bishops and priests distributing communion. The church could easily fit 3 foot ball fields end to end inside it! Empty very cold and massive....full, warm with pilgrims and faith.
